Market Solutions regards as a highest priority the importance of protecting the privacy of personally identifiable information collected about respondents during the course of Research projects.

Market Solutions uses the information collected from participants in the course of our projects for Research projects only. This information is used to investigate the behaviour, needs, attitudes, opinions, motivations or other characteristics of people or companies in the community. This is done in order to provide information to our clients, government, commercial and not-for-profit organisations, which will assist them in making decisions about their products and services.

These results are effectively the community’s input into this decision making process.

The overwhelming majority of the information we hold is not connected with details of those providing the information. As Researchers we are generally interested in the responses of large groups of people, rather than individuals. Information is combined from participants to get an overall picture – which are then reported to our clients. As a matter of standard practice, any information that may identify someone who has participated in a survey is removed as soon as it is no longer required.

This is normally done when fieldwork is completed on a project and before any analysis of the data collected is undertaken. However, while your information remains identifiable, you have the right to request access to and/or correction or deletion of any information about you held by Market Solutions.

Market Solutions does not share any personal information collected from you, unless you have provided prior consent. Market Solutions will not share any personal information or personally identifiable information to a third party, other than conducting our research unless we are required to do so by an Australian law or court/tribunal order.

All the data we collect is protected by a variety of physical and electronic security measures. Access is restricted to authorised personnel and is stored on secure servers at our premise or off site. All servers are located in Australia.
